On the 25th July 2023, at 8 pm, a concert will be held at the Jesuits’ Church in Valletta, to celebrate the donation of a painting of Saint Gianna Beretta Molla to be venerated at the Jesuits’ Church in Valletta.
During this concert, there will be a world Premier of ‘A Prayer of Saint Gianna’ by UK Composer Mathew Ward, written in honour of his wife Dr. Rachael Ward, who died whilst still on Maternity Leave soon after the birth of her third child in 2021.
Well known sopranos Hannah Tong, Michaela Agius, and Harpists Jacob Portelli and Laetetia Troisi de Melville will participate.

At the end of the concert, the painting will be blessed by Monsignor Joseph Galea-Curmi, Auxiliary Bishop of Malta.
Entrance to the concert is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted to defray expenses and to support ’Dar Tgħanniqa ta’ Omm’.
